What is Gambade?

Here’s the thing: we truly love stories. We love watching them unfold and expand and blossom in the hands & minds of talented filmmakers.

At Gambade Films, we focus on meaningful storytelling and showcasing the power of cultural expression in bringing world communities together through film with international co-productions.

We bring forth narratives in new light and explore a wide variety of topics with curiosity, energy, resourcefulness and an attention to detail. We’re not afraid to lean into the heartwarming qualities of the classics but we also love to frolic with innovation and daring to push the boundaries of what’s already been done.

We aim to create work that stands out and becomes a part of our audience’s indelible memory; films they love to watch again and again to revisit a feeling, discover new moments and ultimately be transformed in ways large and small.

Film is fun - and it is also a fundamental part of the reflection of our existence, our ideas and our dreams.

Gambade is jumping in with abandon and passion, choosing to always frolic with whimsy, and daring to take a sudden great big leap. À vos galipettes!

Production Sustainability Values

At Gambade, we believe that storytelling is a privilege. With that privilege comes great responsibility not only to the communities these stories belong to, but to humanity. That is why our sustainability values lie at the core of all our productions and are rooted in four pillars.
